Experience

In a career spanning more than thirty-five years, Mr. Wegner has been exposed to and practiced in most areas of the law including cases involving product liability, breach of contract and other business related disputes, subrogation claims, personal injury actions, adversary claims in bankruptcy actions, consumer and debtor rights, enforcement of judgments and landlord-tenant problems.

His most recently concluded cases involved illegal credit reporting practices, abusive practices by subprime lenders, and breach of fiduciary and other duties by a stock broker. He has extensive experience resolving landlord-tenant disputes through lease surrenders, buy-outs or unlawful detainer filings and has pursued unpaid rent claims against defaulting tenants and personal guarantors.

Personal

Mr. Wegner was born in Inglewood, California and has lived in the Los Angeles area his entire life. He is single and currently resides in Santa Monica. Mr. Wegner spends his spare time reading (he particularly enjoys historical novels) and watching and participating in sports. He is a member of the Humane Society and a dedicated supporter of the rights and welfare of pets.
